Thank you for your interest in our program. All materials are submitted electronically via the Graduate School's ApplyYourself application system. Admissions decisions are communicated to applicants by the Graduate School. Departments can not provide this information.
A decision for admission letter will be emailed to you once your application is carefully reviewed by the department’s admission committee and the Graduate School officials. You can expect a decision by late March or early April.
Admissions
A four-year B.S. degree in an engineering, basic science, or mathematics program is required with a grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scaleGraduate Record Examination (GRE) scores are not required for admission, but these scores will be taken into account if they are provided.Students whose native language is not English are required to submit scores from one of the following English proficiency examinations:
Examination Minimum score TOEFL 550 (paper based) or 213 (computer based)
79 (Internet based)MELAB 80 IELTS 6.5 Please note that in general we admit graduate students for fall semester only. Only under unusual circumstances will students be allowed to begin their studies at another time during the academic year.
Application
Deadlines
December 15 is the application deadline for those students who wish to be considered for financial aid.
Applications received by December 15 will be given priority consideration for admission and financial support. Applications received after December 15 will be considered on a space/funds available basis.March 15 is the final application deadline, though we strongly urge applicants to submit their application well before this deadline.
Materials
All application materials are submitted directly to the Graduate School. The application will not be routed to us until ALL of the materials listed below are submitted successfully.
